The community foundation of Broward recently awarded a grant to Insight for the Blind to purchase digital equipment for their recording studios. Insight's president, Judge George Richardson, Jr., Founder and Executive Director Caroline Mansur and volunteer Diana Fitzpatrick formally accepted the check.
The grant matches a $5,000 gift from an anonymous donor designated for the same project. Insight was awarded this grant as a result of a competitive Community Foundation application designed to fulfill needs and address issues of an ever-changing Broward County.
The Community Foundation of Broward, a public organization with more than $70 million in assets, has allocated $30 million to the community in its 22 year history. For more infomation, visit cfbroward.org.
